Two large grant projects have been selected to join the Public Services Programme. The projects are:

‘Performance assessment and wicked issues: the case of health inequalities’
The Principal Investigator is Professor Tim Blackman, Professor of Sociology and Social Policy at the University of Durham with co-applicants from Durham and the Universities of Cardiff and Aberdeen. The Project will run from November 2005 through to December 2008.

‘Impact of litigation and public law on the quality and delivery of public services’
The research team consists of the Principal Investigator, Professor Maurice Sunkin, Professor in Law at the University of Essex, and co-applicants from the University of Essex. The Project will run from October 2005 through to September 2007.

The new projects join our 14 small grant projects to make a total of 16 current projects and now complete the 1st Call. More details and abstracts will follow shortly. Visit the Research Projects section of this web site for details of our current projects.
