Programme Director, Christopher Hood, is heading up a consultation for the Nuffield Council on Bioethics into how new technologies are revolutionising health care. While some positives may come out of the demystification of certain health processes there is also cause for concern that the provision of some services, for example DNA profiling or body imaging, may benefit from a greater degree of regulation.
