World Summit on Public Management Education, Training and Development 

17th-19th July 2009, Budapest, Hungary.

The summit is co-organised by the European Foundation for Management Development, the International Research Society for Public Management, and the Public and Non-Profit Division of the Academy of Management.

Academics, educators and trainers, policy-makers and public management practitioners are now invited to submit proposals for papers, workshop sessions (3-6 presenters), or innovative sessions.  Proposals in any of these formats are invited on all topics of interest but would be especially welcome in the following general areas: University based education and development, linking education and practice, and practice based developments – further details (pdf) . Proposals should be a maximum of two pages long in 12 point font and be suitable for blind / anonymous review. The deadline for submission is 17th October 2008. Proposals should be submitted through the EFMD conference website at http://prs6.efmd.org

The Thirteenth Annual Conference of the International Research Society for Public Management

6th-8th April 2009, Copenhagen, Denmark.

Proposals are invited for individual papers or contributions to panel sessions on key themes in the theory or practice of public management - further details (pdf) . Please submit an abstract of the paper you intend to present, no more than two pages in length and suitable for anonymous review to irspm2009@cbs.dk by 15th October 2008.
