ESRC Getting Research Into Practice Workshop

Harrington Hall Hotel, LondonThis training event is provided for ESRC funded researchers undertaking research of potential relevance to policy and practice.

Aims:

ESRC Support:

The ESRC will cover all expenses, except participantsí travel costs and personal expenses. (Because the ESRC will make non-refundable commitments, a cancellation fee of £150 will be charged unless notice of withdrawal is given two weeks prior to the event.)

Duration:

Tea/Coffee will be available from 9.30am on Wednesday 12th October. The first session will commence at 10.00am. The final session will conclude at 4.00pm on Thursday 13th October. Accommodation will be provided at the Harrington Hall Hotel, on 12 October.

Limit:

To maximise interaction, attendance will be limited to 20.

A detailed programme will be sent to those selected to participate. It will be designed to reflect your interests and experience.

Contributors:

The event will be facilitated by William Solesbury (WSA, Research Management Consultancy) and Janie Percy-Smith (independent consultant). There will be outside speakers from both research and practice; speakers will be announced after the participants have been selected, so that your interests are taken into account.
