Workshop for Potential Applicants for Project Grants and Fellowships

The Programme has issued a third call for (a) small-grant research projects to examine the relationship between medical regulation and medical performance; (b) fellowships to individuals working on themes that cut across and/or bring together the project work, already completed or in train, within the Programme (and cognate research funded via other channels). The research specifications can be found on our website.

There will be a long lunchtime workshop for potential applicants under this call on Tuesday 9 January, at the Department of Politics International Relations, Oxford University. The workshop will commence at 11.30 (coffee etc. available form 11.00) and finish at about 2.00. Christopher Hood, Director of the Programme, will speak and answer questions, and Sophia Bhatti, Strategy and Planning Policy Advisor at the General Medical Council, will talk and answer questions about the research resources held by the GMC. We also hope to have an office representative form the ESRC to answer technical questions about procedure and what is allowable etc. A sandwich lunch will be provided.
